Once upon a time a group of wine nerds got together and wanted to spend more time together. They lived far apart though and met only a few times here and there, mainly at EWBC, the European wine bloggers conference that later changed it’s name to DWCC, Digital wine communications conference. Luckly enough we were all digital – we created the #winelover community. I am a founding member and the founder is Luiz Alberto.
At the beginning we were few but soon we got many, and after a while we got big. We are 25000+ strong today and we are still having fun. One thing that we do is to celebrate our birthday, Valentine’s day because we are lovers and St. Vincent of Saragossa is the patron saint of wine makers .
So far we ‘ve celebrated in Umbria, Fruili, Alentejo, Jerez, Romania (x2) and Cyprus. This time we head for Tarragona, Spain with help from
